Van Gogh OIL COLOURS

Like the well-known impressionism artist Van Gogh, the artist materials company named after him comes from the Netherlands. All oil paints in this series possess good to excellent lightfastness for permanent color retention. Borciani Bonazzi BRUSH NR. 6

Due to its synthetic hair and the cat-ton- gue-like shape, this brush is particularly suitable for rough surfaces and/or thicker/pastose co- lors such as oil paints. The short handle offers more control as you’re brushing away.

Hi there my name is Clementine – clemstjw on Instagram. I’m from the Uk, growing up in country side in Wiltshire and now have a studio and gallery in London.

I m a professional artist however I have a back ground in science, with a degree in Bio- logical sciences from Oxford University. For me painting and drawing is not only creative but can also be scientific. Thinking about how and why you see things the way they are requires exploring scientific concepts such as consciousness and the science of light and materials. Science is also creative, you need to think out side the box to create new theories. My paintings and drawings range from land- scapes to portraiture to insects and animals, with each of my subject matters I try and look at them in a scientific way whilst also letting go a bit for creative flare and soul and not just recreating like a photograph. I paint mostly from life and often outside in all conditions. Being surrounded by nature, trying to capture a fraction of it, is where I am in my element.
