Rohrer & Klinger Calligraphy Ink 12ml

Rohrer‘s pigmented drawing ink shines as brightly as the sea in the morning sun. Speaking of which, the pigments are light- fast and the resin binder is also non-yello- wing and non-aging, which means that your masterpieces will be well preserved over the centuries! The ink can be applied with a brush or pen holder and creates unique effects when you dilute it with water and experiment with it.

Speedball 6 metal brushes and one Holder

Aye aye! The Speedball metal nibs are particularly efficient and allow long, flowing lines as you don‘t have to dip into the inkwell as often thanks to their ink reservoir (i.e. the small hole in each nib). The manufacturer has perfected this type of nib for over a century, making it the best tool for calligraphy, drawing, and detailed design sketches.

Clairefontaine PaintOn Naturel A5

The sand-colored paper of the PaintOn Naturell block reminds me of the beach of a newly discovered island. The surface of the paper is fine and rough and is therefore parti- cularly suitable for pencils and colored pencils, chalk and pastels, but the multimedia paper is also well suited for all other media and wet techniques!

Koh-I-Noor 1500 4h

The KOH-I-NOOR pencil of hardness level 4H is extremely useful when it comes to fine sketches that can be easily erased. The hexa- gonal pen rests securely in your hand. The 20 degrees of hardness in the pencil series are also highly recommended for technicians, graphic designers and artists.

I’m afraid I have no special tip to give except what perhaps is the most important reminder, no matter your field of interest: be yourself and enjoy the moment. Everyone has their own special way of imagining, creating and working. That’s how Art goes on according to me. It is like writing with a pen. We all have a different way to do it and we all have different things to express. And that’s for sure better that way. So be yourself, trust yourself, let the music play and take it easy! Art is supposed to be a pleasure. If not, try again later, another day, with a better mindset.
